For those of you who are not familiar with Shepherd of the Bay, heres a
belief statement of who we are.
We are Lutherans
As Lutherans, we are proud of the heritage of the Reformation and the great principles of Christian belief rediscovered by Martin Luther which form the core of our faith and life.
Grace Alone All of Gods mercy, love and forgiveness is given to
us purely as a gift which we in no way deserve.
Faith Alone We receive these gifts simply by trusting in the God who
promises them, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Scripture Alone The Bible is the one reliable and authoritative
source of our knowledge about God, His will for our lives, and especially
His love for us through our savior Jesus Christ.
